Vision

A community outreach service which supports families in distress and/or in transition. To touch their lives by offering them a temporary home with practical guided assistance.

Mission

AROS INC. is a non-profit organization that runs The Grace House.

The Grace House - Chesterfield is a ministry dedicated to the improvement of those who are broken and in need.

We will provide a temporary home as well as compassionate care by connecting them with appropriate volunteer professionals.

We will love, teach, guide, and equip them to better care for themselves and their children. We are committed to moving families from a place of survival to a place of security.

History and Background

The Grace HouseThe Grace House - Chesterfield is the first Housing project of AROS INC. a non-profit organization. It was founded by Andrea Robert who had a vision to have a "home" for women with children and/or single women during a time of distress. That home is called The Grace House - Chesterfield. It is a transitional home for women and their children in need. The house is currently open.

Andrea believes God placed this vision on her heart due to the tremendous need she herself was in as well as the awareness of the needs of others. He answered her prayers to begin this work. Praise God!

Our Goal

During their stay, residents will work with a case manager to set personal goals, and receive educational sessions. Our success is dependent on our effort to educate and encourage. Workshops are held regularly for residents on topics such as money management, healthy relationships and life skills issues that will allow them to transition into personal and economic self-sufficiency.
